Summer is for Siblings!

The unofficial start of summer...

I don't know about you, but for me summer always makes me thing of spending time with my sister.

During the school year, I am all about spending time with my class mates. But come summer, al the downtime at home meant adventures at our country childhood home with my little sister.

There is something about the bond and those memories of days that last forever. Swimming, riding bikes, making flower crowns.

The years pass so quickly, and before you know it I was off to college and then the Navy to be a photojournalist. Those summers came to an end.

Now that I am a parent, I am counting down these summers with my kids at home here in Memphis. I want to make sure I take all the photos! I know I love looking back on the photos of me and my sister when we were young. And I love showing them to my own kids as well.
